Why won’t my SD card work ?
So I have a Kodak EasyShare C180 camera .
and a 256 MB SD card ; i don’t really take that much photos .
In my Photography Class ,
I would have a card reader so we could put our memory cards in so we could put our photos on our Macs . (the laptops)
and well sometimes the card reader was retarded and say “Device Removal” and that my card was removed even though it was still there and it might ruin a couple of photos .
and I deleted folders that had photos belonging to different camera because when I didn’t bring my camera I would put my card into a couple of my friends’ cameras .
The Problem:
Without a card , the camera could take only 5 photos .
and when I put in my card , I could take a lot , like 60+
now that I put in my card I could ONLY take 5 photos .
what can I do to fix this so my card would work in my camera again ?
Your camera should have a “format card” function in its menu system somewhere.
After you’ve copied the five pictures to your computer, put the card back in the camera and use that format function. The camera will completely erase the card and you should have all that missing space back again.
