How do you achieve studio lighting outside?
im only a teenager, just curious though because i would really like to pursue photography in post secondary…im really wondering how the setup of the lighting works..
i was looking at some photos and the model and photographer shot at various locations so im assuming its really portable and easy(when you get the hang of it ofcourse)? possibly maybe haha

Basically what is it is using small strobes (flashes) off-axis to achieve studio lighting out of studio (with modifiers of course – as mentioned in another answer). But strobism isn’t just limited to flashes, it is more general. It is creating an additional light source. It might be in your best interest to purchase a 5-in-1 reflector… it is what I used to create this picture –
